Late October 2024, I attended the local Highland Games.
On a whim, I bought a kilt. (“If they have one in my size, I’m gonna buy it,” I thought.)
The kilt was a loud tartan. When I wore the kilt in public I always felt like a “Regiment of One.”
I enjoyed the freedom of movement, though.
I decided to make one for myself in a less conspicuous fabric.
I bought a book on kilt-making, researched the internet, and put it all together in a kilt of my own.
I didn’t stop with one kilt. I wondered, how can I make my kilt better?
I’m afraid I’ve lost the “W.” I’ve gone from quilter to kilter (or maybe the Kilted Quilter?).
