This is my Workhorse.
I call it my workhorse because I use this simple square in ALL of my quilts.
You don’t believe me?
Then, check out “Tessellated Quilts” under “Quilt Gallery” . . . all of the quilts shown were created using the workhorse.
Aside from differences in colors (and a few repeated patterns), these are all very different quilts.
How did I do it?
I used the operations of symmetry to arrange and rearrange the workhorse in groups of four to make a block. The possibilities are endless . . .
Over the next several days, I’m gonna demonstrate the versatility of the workhorse and the “power of symmetry.”
I hope you’ll join me . . .
