I used two different tiles, alternating them like a checkerboard for this pattern. The result is a network of ribbon shapes, rising from chevron shapes on the surface of the quilt.

I made two different “Rainbow Ribbons,” both for the St. Louis Efforts for AIDS auction.
It seems every disease and cause has a different-colored ribbon.

The bottom of this quilt is out of character with the rest of the quilt (I forget why I did that). In hindsight, I regret using the yellow and green with the purple ribbons. It looks like a large bruise . . . hmmm, maybe the colors were more appropriate than I thought.
