Creating knotwork online . . .

In an earlier post, I mentioned three methods of creating Celtic knots: drawing them by hand; cutting them from folded paper; and, using the Celtic knot font.

I’d like to amend that list with the addition of a fourth method: computer software.

I found two different websites that allow you to create Celtic knots online with the help of a computer program. Both websites provide two different pages to play with.

The first website, Celtic Knots, is written by Jo Edkins (look for “Simple Designer,” and “More complex knots designer” under “Design Celtic knots online” in the upper right corner of the page).

The second website, Knotwork Designer, is written by Andrew Birrell.

Check ’em out!!

    1. Thank you, Scarlett!! I’m gonna have to give it a try!!

I’ve added a number of links for knotwork software, but I may edit these and suggest that people Google “Celtic knot software.”
