Here is the Celtic knot section I’m playing with today:

Below, I show this knot section curved into a circle with two, three, four, and five repeats of the section.

I like 4 & 5! They are really nice!
Thanks, Jackie!! I’m thinking about making a quilt of the most popular design!!
Ed asked me if I could do a three-color quilt, but guess what?? The odd-numbered sections only result in one continuous knot; the even-numbered sections result in two interwoven knots.
Follow the paths with your finger (or print ’em out and color ’em in), and see for yourself!!
I like #2 for it simplicity but I also like #5 because it is so intricate. Done in black or red bias tape or whatever medium you are thinking of, either would be great.
Thank you, Rhonda!!
Hi Raymond. Neat work I loved #5 because it’s so intricate .. really tested my eyesight following all the lines. 🙂 But then the more i looked at them the more I liked the others .. each for a different reason. can’t wait to see your choice and how you make it.
I like 4 and 5 because I like that they are more angular and intricate. I love Celtic knotwork!
Thank you, Leslie!!
Yo, I got a tattoo of number 5 and added a date to it to remember my grandfather that passed. It turned out amazing!
Do you have a photo? I would love to see it!
