Maintaining a website/blog is work.
Thankfully, there are tools that make my job a bit easier.
One of the tools at my disposal is the site statistics. The site statistics tell me which posts are viewed (how many times, and for how long); which sites refer readers to me; where readers go when they leave this site; and what search engine terms readers type to find me.
Fully two-thirds of my most popular posts (shown in the sidebar to the right) feature Celtic knots.
The number of search engine terms using “Celtic knots” far outnumber all other terms combined.
Ever heard of, “Give the people what they want”?
I now declare 2014 as the Year of the Celtic Knot!
Over the coming year, I will discuss Celtic knots, design Celtic knots, and create Celtic knot quilts.
I invite you to join me on this journey.
I have written a 12-page eBook, DIY Celtic Knots, that I’m giving away FREE!
The eBook contains a set of Celtic knot tiles that allow you to design your own original Celtic knots. I’ll be using these tiles myself in the coming months, so you can follow along and try out your own ideas.
You don’t even have to be a quilter to play with and enjoy the tiles.
The eBook also contains Celtic knot tiles in three sizes (3-inch, 4.5-inch, and 6-inch) that you can use as traceable templates, suitable for various applique techniques.
All I ask is that you supply your email address in the form in the upper right corner of this page. (Well, how else can I email your free gift?)
Then, come back to this site and let’s have some Celtic knot fun this year!
